Today it's the turn of Central Essos - the stripe of the world containing the Dothraki Sea, Old Valyria, the slaver cities of Astapor and Mereen, the Red Waste and the Bone Mountains that cleave the continent in two. In the article I go into some of the fun features of this part of the world that makes it much more than just the playground of the horse-lords.

I really like how you did the ruins of Valyria, it's better than how I imagined Valyria would look.

I absolutely LOVE this! Is there anywhere to get a hi-res version? The one you linked to seems to be about the same as this one.

Unfortunately the publishers and GRRM are only willing to allow these low res images on the web. You'll need to pick up the 6 sq foot poster map to see the full thing. Here it is (along with the other 11 poster maps in the set): [link]
